It’s not just our sensitive doggies that get to have all the bacon and liver fun!
1/2 pound Beef Liver, cooked and chopped (approximately 1 cup)
3 slices Bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup plain, fat-free Yogurt
1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
(1/2 teaspoon Water)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. In a large bowl mix all ingredients one at a time, excluding the 1/2 teaspoon water, stirring well after each addition.
3. Knead dough into ball, if you have difficulty kneading add 1/2 teaspoon water, and roll onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with the cookie cutter of your choice.
4. Place on your prepared cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen Bones.
