A while back I ordered a copy of The Culinary Canine and shared a couple of the recipes with you.
Guess what?!?! I was lucky enough to get an interview with Kit Feldman, the writer of The Culinary Canine and Sabina Pierce, the photographer.
I’m so excited that I’m giving away a copy of the book in celebration!|
It won’t be my sticky, covered in flour gently used copy, I make sure you get a new on. If you can’t wait you can grab your own copy here.
Ooh, a doggie cookbook! I’ve only cooked once specifically “for Elka”, to date (okay, twice…once was no cook treats and the other was liver that I didn’t want to give her raw), but I always mean to!
I make cookies for my four Malamutes every week. Cooking for Gumbo, Beignet, Mia and Boudreaux allows me to know what’s going into the food they eat. I’m always looking for new ideas, but the Peanut Butter Fireworks and Oatmeal Cinnamon Applesauce cookies are their favorites!
Thanks so much for doing what you do!
I love baking for our 9 mo old Goldendoodle, Neuman! We make a lot of roll out cookies, and buscuits, cut into the shape of cats. I just made him some puppy ice cream, last night; can’t wait to see how he likes it. Thank you for all of the great recipes!!
Ooooh, I would love to win this! I have a thing for doggy cookbooks but yet to have this one. I’m sure my Rottie, Jameson would love the recipes found in it!
All the recipes on this site have been carefully researched and have been tried and tested on various dogs. However, I cannot rule out the possibility of particular food intolerances in certain dogs and cannot be held liable in this case.
The recipes are intended for special occasions. They are meant as an addition to your dogs regular diet and should not replace a proper balanced diet.
It is essential to ask the advice of your Vet before feeding your dog any homemade food.

I cook for 2 canines…Schooner and Skipper. They like it when I cook for them.
I cook all the dogs food – dinner and treats alike so I really enjoy gathering new ideas
Buddy Kilo and Pippin enjoy it too!
I’m sure my Karma and Bella would love me to have this! And since it is Karma’s 5th birthday maybe I’ll have some luck! :)
I love making homemade biscuits for my three pooches — Minna, Koda, & Nikko. They especially love liver & oat bars.
