frozen chicken liver kale dog treat recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Chicken Livers cooked and chopped
  • 4 Kale leaves thick stems and ribs removed, leaves chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup plain Yogurt divided

First Layer

  • 1/2 pound Chicken Livers cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Yogurt
  • Add chicken liver and yogurt to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth

Second Layer

  • 4 Kale leaves
  • 1/2 cup plain Yogurt
  • Add kale and yogurt to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth

Instructions

  • Divide the first layer mixture among the cups.
  • Allow to freeze for 1 to 2 hours, and then mix your next layer.
  • Divide the second layer among the cups.
  • Freeze for 8 hours to allow them to fully set.
  • Run warm water around the mold to remove the popsicle.
  • Makes 4 popsicles.
