frozen peanut butter apple dog treat recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Apple Sauce
- 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- splash Vanilla Extract
- pinch Cinnamon
Instructions
- Dust mold with cinnamon
- Mix the peanut butter, apple sauce, coconut milk, honey and vanilla extract in a blender, blend until smooth.
- Pour into molds and allow to freeze for up to eight hours to allow them to fully set.
- Run warm water around the mold to remove.
Avocados???? I have read they are harmful to dogs!!!

Thank you for your concern Deb. I use the ASPCA as my go to resource for my ingredients and this is what they say about avocado:
“In some dogs and cats, mild stomach upset may occur if the animal eats a significant amount of avocado flesh or peel. Ingestion of the pit can lead to obstruction in the gastrointestinal tract, which is a serious situation requiring urgent veterinary care. Avocado is sometimes included in pet foods for nutritional benefit. We would generally not expect avocado meal or oil present in commercial pet foods to pose a hazard to dogs and cats.”

I noticed the shape of your cookies, where did you find the mold for the shapes??? I have look everywhere.
