Apple Thyme Pâté Dog Treat Recipe


  • 1 pound Chicken Livers
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme


  • Clean and trim the livers of any excess fat and connective tissue. 
  • In a large sauce pan boil chicken livers in water for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Add apple and thyme to chicken livers and allow to boil an additional 5 minutes.
  • Reserving some of the water and allow to cool.
  • Once cooled place livers, apple and thyme in a food processor or blender.
  • Blend until smooth, using reserved water to thin when necessary.
  • Line a container with plastic wrap and pour in mixture.
  • Allow to chill over night and serve.
