Liver and Sweet Potato Waffles Dog Treat Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound chicken liver cooked
  • 1/2 cup mashed sweet potato
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and thyme; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix chicken liver, sweet potato, egg and water; pour over flour mixture, and mix.
  • Following manufacturer's instructions, cook waffles until deep brown and crisp.
