Pork Pie Dog Treat Recipe
Ingredients
crust
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup water
filling
- 1/2 cup cooked and drained ground pork
- 2 slices crisply cooked and crumbled bacon
- 3 basil leaves chopped
- 4 eggs
Instructions
crust
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Use a silicone mold or grease and flour a metal mold.
- Mix crust ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
- Spoon the mix into the bottom of mold and press until even.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned at the edges.
filling
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit.
- Mix filling ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
- Top cooked crust with filling until mold is full.
- Bake until the egg mixture is set in the center, approximately 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool and remove from mold using a rubber spatula
