00:17 Tennille: Hi, everyone. It’s Tennille, and we’re gonna be baking some peanut butter carrot treats. We’ll need half a cup of grated carrots. I buy pre-shredded, half a cup of peanut butter, make sure it’s all natural, you don’t want your dogs getting any bad ingredients, a cup of spelt flour, a fourth of a cup of water, and a pinch of cinnamon. You also need a mixing bowl, some sort of spoon or spatula, and a fork. Prepare your baking sheet. Line it with parchment paper, foil, or a silicone baking mat. Set it to the side. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. So mix your carrots, peanut butter, flour, water and pinch of cinnamon all together. Once everything’s well combined, roll your dough into half-inch balls and place them an inch apart on your baking sheet. Press the tops with a fork to flatten. Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes. I’m gonna let you get those all pressed out and into the oven and we’ll be back.

01:23 Tennille: Great, the timer just went off and our treats are done. Make sure they’re completely cool before you feed them to your dogs. Any leftovers, make sure to refrigerate. I ended up with about a dozen and a half treats. There’ll be a link to the recipe in the comment. Come back next week for another delicious dog treat recipe. Happy baking.

01:40 Tennille: All these recipes have been carefully researched, but we cannot rule out the possibility of food intolerances, and it is essential that you speak with your veterinarian before feeding your dog any homemade treats.
