00:17 Tennille: Hi, hi, it’s Tennille. And we’re going to be making some peanut butter blueberry treats. You’ll need half a cup of blueberries, puréed until pourable, half a cup of peanut butter, two tablespoons of honey, a fourth of a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a cup of spelt flour. You’ll also need a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, a fork, and a cookie cutter. Prepare your baking sheet, line it with parchment paper, foil, or a silicon baking mat and set it to the side, and then preheat your oven to 350 degrees. You’re gonna mix your blueberries, peanut butter, honey, cinnamon, flour in your mixing bowl all together. Once it’s well combined, knead it into a ball and roll it out about one-fourth to a half of an inch thick on a well floured surface, and then cut it with the cookie cutter of your choice. Poke the tops of the biscuits with a fork to prevent any air bubbles. You’re gonna wanna bake it to 10 to 15 minutes in your pre-heated oven, until lightly browned at the edges. I’m gonna give you a chance to get that in the oven and we’ll be back once they come out.

01:26 Tennille: Treats are done! I used about a three-inch, bone-shaped cookie cutter, and I got about two dozen treats. Allow your treats to cool before you feed them to your dog and refrigerate any that you have left over. There’ll be a link to the recipe in the comments. Come back next week for another dog biscuit recipe. Happy baking!

01:44 Tennille: All these recipes have been carefully researched, but we cannot rule out the possibility of food intolerances. And it is essential that you speak with your veterinarian before feeding your dog any homemade treats.
