00:13 Tennille: Hello, chefs. It’s Tennille, and we’re going to be making some banana chicken biscuits. You’re going to have some prep work. This recipe calls for cooked and chopped chicken breasts and two mashed bananas. I just cut them up into my mixing bowl and mash them with my potato masher. Once you’ve got your chicken cooked and chopped, and your bananas mashed, you’ll also need two tablespoons of melted butter, two cups of whole-wheat flour and a pinch of dried parsley. You’ll also need a mixing bowl, a spoon or a spatula, a fork and a cookie cutter. Prepare your baking sheet, line it with parchment paper, foil, or a silicon baking mat, set it to the side and preheat your oven to 350 degrees. So, mix your bananas, your chicken, your butter, your flour and your parsley in a bowl. Once well-combined, knead it into a ball and roll out one-fourth to half-an-inch thick on a well-floured surface and cut it with a cookie cutter of your choice. Poke holes into the top of the biscuits with a fork to prevent air bubbles. I’ll let you get those all cut out, into the oven, and we’ll be back.

01:31 Tennille: The treats are done. I used about a three-inch cookie cutter and got about two dozen treats. Make sure you allow them to cool before you feed them to your dog and refrigerate any that you may have left over. There’ll be a link to the recipe in the comments. Come back next week for another tasty treat recipe. Happy baking.

01:48 Tennille: All these recipes have been carefully researched, but we cannot rule out the possibility of food intolerances. And it is essential that you speak with your veterinarian before feeding your dog any homemade treats.
