00:14 Tennille: Hi, everyone. It’s Tennille, and we’re gonna be baking some peanut butter pumpkin dog treats today. You’ll need a fourth of a cup of peanut butter, make sure it’s something that says all natural or only contains peanuts. Some brands have artificial sweeteners that can be harmful to your pup and you don’t wanna feed your dog anything like that. You’ll need a fourth of a cup of pumpkin puree, a table spoon of molasses, a cup of brown rice flour, and a pinch of cinnamon. Prepare your baking sheet, line it with parchment paper, foil or a silicon baking mat, and set it to the side. Also, preheat your oven to 325 degrees. In your mixing bowl, you’re gonna mix together your peanut butter, pumpkin puree, molasses, brown rice flour and your cinnamon. And once it’s completely mixed, you’re going to roll your dough into a half-inch balls and place them about an inch apart on your baking sheet, then press the tops with a fork to flatten. Bake them for about 10 to 15 minutes, then turn off your oven and allow your treats to cool inside with the door slightly open. That will give them the chance to get nice and crispy. So I’ll let you finish making those treats and get them in the oven, and I’ll be back.

01:29 Tennille: Once your treats are completely cool, you can go on ahead and pull them out of the oven. Any that your dogs don’t eat right away, you wanna make sure you put those in the refrigerator. This made about a dozen and a half treats for me, so not a really big recipe, and I leave you a link to the recipe in the comments. Come back next week for another tasty treat. Happy baking.

01:49 Tennille: All these recipes have been carefully researched, but we cannot rule out the possibility of food intolerances and it is essential that you speak with your veterinarian before feeding your dog any homemade treats.
