Peanut Butter Cinnamon Roll Dog Treats

I decided to try something new with these peanut cinnamon roll treats, what do you think?

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Mix whole wheat flour, baking powder and cinnamon until well combined and set aside.
  • In a large bow mix peanut butter and milk then slowly add dry mixture.
  • Knead dough into ball and roll onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick and take a straight edge cut the dough into inch wide strips (I used a pizza cutter).
  • Roll the strips along the long end to form the 'roll' shape.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, cool and refrigerate.

    What do I think? They look incredible. I’d make them, but I’m afraid my husband would eat them all!! He’s such a dog….

    I made these yesterday for my fur baby and my family and friend fur babys too. All of them LOVE them. I ended up using all purpose flour instead scene that the only kind we have. I felt it was safe. Scene I was looking at other dog treat and they use all purpose flour. I’m planning when they run out to make more but not a cinnamon roll just cookie shape. Thank you for the receipted.

    Do these have to stay refrigerated? I realize it has milk, but once it’s baked, isn’t it ok to leave it at room temperature?
