Once these liver biscotti dog treats went into the oven and the liver smell filled the house the boys disappeared and the dogs suddenly became my very best friends. I’d call it a good trade off!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Beef Liver cooked and chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Combine dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. Add cheddar cheese, beef liver and milk to dry mix and knead until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Form dough into flat logs about 6 inches wide and 1 inch high. Bake on prepared baking sheet for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes then cut logs into 1 inch slices.
- Place slices back on baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the slices are as dry and crunchy.
- Cool and refrigerate.
- 2 to 3 dozen.

These sound very enticing. Think I wanna make them as gifts to all my doggie lover friends at our local park. Btw, does the house really smell coz of the liver??
It wasn’t that bad, and I HATE the smell of liver. But you can defiantly tell that your cooking with it.
