Waffles for my Sweet Dog Treat Recipe
Equipment
- waffle maker
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mashed sweet potato
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch cinnamon
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix milk, egg, mashed sweet potato and pineapple juice; pour over flour mixture, and mix.
- Following manufacturer's instructions, cook waffles until deep brown and crisp.
