Benefits of Using Pork in Dog Treats
Pork is excellent sources of protein, which is an essential nutrient for your dog’s overall health and well-being. Protein helps to build and repair tissues, as well as support a healthy immune system.
When it comes to choosing pork for your dog’s treats, it’s important to look for high-quality, human-grade meat. Always consult with your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog’s diet.
Tips for Storing and Serving the Treats
Once your pork and duck egg quiche dog treats are baked and cooled, it’s important to store them properly to ensure they stay fresh and tasty for your pup. You can store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
When serving the treats, be sure to monitor your dog’s intake and adjust their regular food accordingly. Treats should always be given in moderation, and should not make up more than 10% of your dog’s daily caloric intake.
