Waffles for my Sweet Dog Treat Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup mashed sweet potato
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch cinnamon
1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Instructions

Preheat your waffle iron and spray with cooking spray or rub a little melted butter on.
In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix milk, egg, mashed sweet potato and pineapple juice; pour over flour mixture, and mix.
Following manufacturer's instructions, cook waffles until deep brown and crisp.
