ask the chef :: how to make oat flour
Oat flour can be expensive and if you don’t use a lot of it the fact that it goes bad so quickly can discourage you from using it.
It’s such a versatile flour and so easy to make on your own once you get the hang of it I’m sure it’ll be a welcome addition to your pantry.
All you need is a blender or food processor and rolled oats. If you’re making oat flour as a gluten-free flour alternative make sure that you buy certified gluten-free oats.
Ingredients
Oats

2. Blend the oats on the “pulse” setting until the oats are ground into a powder consistency.
